After breakfast at your hotel, we will begin our journey to Assilah, known as the “pearl of the Atlantic.” This small, tranquil town is surrounded by historical Portuguese walls and is famous for its white, indigo, and emerald-painted medina. The medina is not only beautiful but also one of the cleanest and most picturesque in Morocco, perfect for leisurely walks. You’ll have free time to wander the cobbled streets and enjoy fresh seafood.

Following your time in Assilah, we continue to Tangier, a northern Moroccan city with a rich cultural heritage. Overnight stay in Tangier.

After a hearty breakfast at your hotel, embark on a full day of sightseeing in Tangier. Visit Cape Spartel, the stunning Palace of the Sultan, the ancient Necropolis, and the fascinating Caves of Hercules. Discover the historic Kasbah, the vibrant medina, and the bustling souk. Enjoy free time to explore the souk’s array of traditional Moroccan goods. Afterward, savor a delicious lunch at a typical Moroccan restaurant, where you can sample some of the finest local dishes. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Tangier.

After breakfast, we will drive to Chefchaouen, the famous “blue city” of Morocco. On the way, stop in Tetouan, a charming city with a rich Andalusian heritage. Continue your journey to Chefchaouen, known for its blue-washed buildings and stunning mountainous backdrop. Enjoy an overnight stay in Chefchaouen.

Spend the entire day exploring the mesmerizing blue city of Chefchaouen. Nestled in the Rif Mountains, Chefchaouen is renowned for its unique blue-painted medina, where you can find traditional leather and weaving workshops along its cobbled streets. Visit the central square of Outa el Hammam, home to the red-walled Kasbah, a 15th-century fortress housing ethnographic and artistic exhibitions. Don’t miss the octagonal minaret of the Great Mosque, an iconic feature of the city. Enjoy your day immersed in the serenity and charm of this beautiful mountain town.

After breakfast, head towards Volubilis, an ancient city that was once the capital of the Kingdom of Mauretania. Located near Meknes, Volubilis is a UNESCO World Heritage site famous for its well-preserved Roman ruins. Enjoy stunning views as we pass through the Rif Mountains and into the Saiss plain.

Continue to Meknes, one of Morocco’s imperial cities. Explore Meknes’s significant historical sites, including the grand Bab Mansour gate, a masterpiece of Moroccan architecture, and the Mausoleum of Sultan Moulay Ismail. Visit the Heri es-Souani, a vast complex that once housed stables and food warehouses. The city’s rich imperial past is evident throughout, from its monumental gates to its grand courtyards. Overnight stay in Meknes.

Today, begin your day with a tour of the monumental gates and walls of Meknes, dating back to the 17th century. Visit the Berdaïne Bab and Bab Khemis gates, and explore the stables (Rua) and the impressive attics (HERI). Stop by the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, the only mosque open to non-Muslim visitors in Morocco for centuries. Continue to El Hedim Square, the famous square built by Sultan Moulay Ismail in the 17th century. Afterward, visit the Museum of Moroccan Art at Dar Jamai to explore a wide range of local handicrafts.

Enjoy a leisurely lunch, followed by a visit to a tile cooperative, where you can witness the craftsmanship of Moroccan artisans. Conclude your tour with a panoramic view of the entire Medina of Fez. Overnight stay at your riad.

This itinerary offers a thorough exploration of Morocco’s cultural, historical, and architectural treasures, from the vibrant cities of Casablanca and Rabat to the blue beauty of Chefchaouen and the ancient ruins of Volubilis. Experience the essence of Morocco with a blend of stunning landscapes, rich heritage, and authentic local experiences.

After breakfast, you will leave Fes traveling towards Merzouga via Midelt and the Ziz valley. Today you will travel via the city of Ifrane, a beautiful mountain village, known as the Switzerland of Morocco. Here, you will also stop at the cedar forest in the Middle Atlas Mountains. During this journey, you’ll have glimpses of the Middle Atlas and Higher Atlas mountains, with a stop at Azrou, a Berber village within the famous cedar forest—the largest in Morocco—where you will have the opportunity to see the Barbary apes. After that, your journey continues to Midelt along the magnificent hills and mountains of the Atlas. After lunch in Midelt, you will travel through the fascinating Tiz Ntalghamt pass and the spectacular Ziz Gorge, taking in views of the High Atlas plateau and the gradual change in scenery to desert as you approach the southeast province of Errachidia. Afterwards, you’ll travel along the fantastic Ziz Valley, stopping for panoramic views along the way to Erfoud and Rissani. Upon arriving in Merzouga, you will be welcomed with a glass of mint tea. Then, take a camel ride in the dunes of the Sahara Desert of Merzouga to reach the camp where you will spend the night.

After breakfast, we will embark on a tour of the Erg Chebbi dunes. On our way, we will visit the village of Khamlia, a traditional Moroccan Berber village, to experience a performance of Gnawa music. We will also visit the Oasis of Merzouga, which preserves an old system of irrigation, before heading to Rissani to explore ancient Ksours and Kasbahs. After a local, typical lunch, we will drive back to the hotel around 4:00 p.m. Once there, we will change our car for friendly camels and depart on a camel trek to the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. You will spend the night in a bivouac (camp) and enjoy Berber music, before resting under a traditional camel-hair nomad tent and gazing at the stars.

Today, you will wake up very early to witness what may be the best sunrise of your life. Set over the Sand Dunes of the Sahara of Erg Chebbi to watch a stunning sunrise. Afterward, you’ll head back to the camp for breakfast. Then, you’ll peacefully camel-trek back to the village of Merzouga. During the morning camel ride, you will appreciate the unique beauty of the spectacular Erg Chebbi sand dunes as the light changes throughout the day.

Once in Merzouga, you will meet the driver again to continue the journey to Dades. You will have an optional stop in Rissani to visit the Mausoleum of Moulay Ali Chref, the founder of the Alaouite dynasty. Afterward, you’ll continue to Arfoud to visit the fossilized marble factory before proceeding to Todra Valley for lunch. In Todra, you can take a half-hour walk to explore the gorges calmly, followed by a tour of the palm grove and the Jewish quarter. The Todra Gorges, with their enormous vertical walls, are a climber’s paradise and a place of great beauty.

After breakfast at your accommodation, you will travel through Dades Valley towards Ouarzazate and then to Marrakech. The road through Dades Valley is known as the “Way of a Thousand Kasbahs,” offering numerous opportunities for great photographs. You will stop at Kalaat M’Gouna, the center of the rose valley, where you can visit a rose cooperative and purchase rosewater, which will leave your linens smelling fresh long after your trip.

Next, you’ll continue to Marrakech via Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, built by Et Hami El Glaoui, one of the last Berber chieftains of the 19th century. Now, the Kasbah houses many Glaoui descendants. The journey continues through the majestic Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2260 meters) over the High Atlas Mountains, where you will have the chance to observe the process of producing Argan oil, which is unique to Morocco, by Berber women in their cooperative, before arriving at your overnight accommodation in Marrakech.

After breakfast at your hotel/riad, you will begin exploring Marrakech, known as “the Red City of Morocco.” You will visit the most important historical and cultural sites, including the Majorelle Gardens, the Koutoubia Tower, the Saadian Tombs, the Bahia Palace, and the main square, Place Jemaa el-Fna. After lunch at a restaurant near the square, you will stroll through the souks, where you can view hundreds of handicrafts. In the afternoon, you’ll have free time to explore the other parts of the city.

Marrakech is nicknamed the “Red City” because of its old red sandstone city walls and buildings. It has Berber roots and was once a major trading capital for tribes from the Atlas Mountains. As you explore, you’ll pass by the bustling Jemaa el-Fna Square, the souks to the north, the Koutoubia Mosque and Gardens to the west, and the Kasbah area, with the Saadian Tombs, Bahia Palace, and El Badi Palace to the south. In the new city, you’ll find the tranquil Majorelle Gardens.

Enjoy a free day to relax in Marrakech and explore at your own pace. There are many additional activities to enjoy in Marrakech, including a visit to a hammam, massage, or spa. You can also explore nearby areas like the Atlas Mountains, valleys, waterfalls, and landscapes. Alternatively, you can take a day trip to Essaouira or Ouzoud Waterfalls.

After breakfast, you will head to Essaouira. On the way, you can enjoy the beautiful sight of goats climbing argan trees, and if you wish, stop to visit an argan oil cooperative and the argan forest. Essaouira is a coastal town that offers a relaxing beach experience. Its Medina blends history and culture with modern cafes and restaurants. The town has a long promenade, a large sandy beach, and safe swimming conditions. It’s the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the cooler climate of this coastal town. Essaouira is also known for its 18th-century fortifications and its fusion of European military architecture with North African traditions.

After breakfast, you will depart for El Jadida, the former Portuguese city of Mazagan. Here, you will visit the port, the ramparts, the Portuguese cistern, and the bastions offering stunning views of the city. El Jadida, situated on the Atlantic coast, is a small yet charming town. The trip will allow you to explore its narrow streets, the Portuguese citadel, and relax by the beach. You will also have the opportunity to buy fresh fish or enjoy freshly grilled fish by the sea before transferring to Casablanca. Overnight in Casablanca.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Casablanca International Airport Mohamed V. This marks the end of your tour.
