After breakfast, you will depart from Fes, heading towards Merzouga via Midelt and the Ziz Valley. Your journey begins with a stop in Ifrane, a beautiful mountain town often called the “Switzerland of Morocco” for its unique alpine-style architecture.

Along the way, you will experience the stunning landscapes of the Middle and High Atlas Mountains, passing through several traditional Berber villages. You will also visit the famous Cedar Forest, the largest in Morocco, where you may spot the playful Barbary macaques.

Continuing towards Midelt, you’ll travel through the magnificent hills and mountains of the Atlas. After enjoying lunch in Midelt, you will cross the spectacular Tiz N’Talghamt Pass and the Ziz Gorge, admiring breathtaking views of the High Atlas plateau as the scenery gradually shifts towards desert landscapes upon approaching Errachidia.

From there, you will follow the picturesque Ziz Valley, making stops for panoramic views before reaching Erfoud and Rissani.

In the afternoon, you will arrive at the village of Merzouga, where your camel caravan awaits. Embark on a memorable camel trek across the golden dunes of the Sahara Desert to reach your desert camp.

Spend the night under the stars at a traditional camp nestled among the majestic dunes of the Sahara.

On this day, you’ll wake up early to witness what may be the best sunrise of your life over the Erg Chebbi sand dunes in the Sahara Desert. The early morning light casts magical colors across the vast dunes, creating a breathtaking scene.

After enjoying the sunrise, you’ll head back to the desert camp for breakfast. Following that, you will embark on a peaceful camel trek back to the village of Merzouga, taking in the stunning views of the ever-changing dunes as the morning light shifts.

Once you arrive in Merzouga, your driver will meet you again to continue your journey back to Fes, passing through scenic landscapes and charming towns.
